Aircraft fasteners come in a great variety. You must have seen the size of a plane. If you have, then you can imagine the amount of small nuts and bolts that must have been used to keep the plane parts together. These aircraft fasteners are manufactured out of durable metals mixed with chemicals in order give them high durability. There are different types of fasteners used for different planes. There are nuts and bolts in various sizes and shapes. All the aircrafts are not the same in design and size. Therefore there are certain types of nuts and bolts that are used particularly only for some aircrafts. Fasteners are not only nuts and bolts and screw but there are many other types of aircraft fasteners. The aircraft components are kept together with the help of various fasteners. Some of other fasteners are studs, inserts, rosan fasteners, screw points, fittings, rivets and pins, washers and nuts, and many more. Other than fasteners there are aircraft bearings that are equally important. These are devices that permit a constrained relative movement between two parts of an aircraft. Though the fasteners and bearings are small parts of an aircraft they are nonetheless important. There are different types of fasteners and bearings manufactured according to the need of different aircrafts. Some pilots custom make parts for their aircraft in order to suit their needs.
